Buddha bowl

I love Buddha bowls.  They are so easy to make and so healthy.  I love that I can put different things inside it.  Freedom.  When I say these things are easy,  let me talk about it.  I put some beans, onions, garlic, flavoring, salt, and water into my instant pot pressure cooker.  You could also do overnight beans with the same ingredients into a slow cooker and cook it all night. Then I do some rice in a rice cooker.  Yesterday, I finely sliced some carrots and then roasted some broccoli.  The broccoli was roasted with a drizzle of olive oil and garlic salt.

So, I make everything first thing in the morning and then, poof, when I want to eat grab some beans, rice, some carrots, and broccoli- everyone can eat when they want to.  I can be drawing, painting, writing or blogging, and everyone fed and I have FREEDOM to work.

Here’s the beautiful results.

Oh.  The sauce is a balsamic vinaigrette from the store.  I think this is Olive Garden’s version but my favorite is Panera’s Balsamic Vinaigrette.  Uh-ah. Uh-ah.

Good day everyone.
